I think our team mission is already set in place. Use your imagination to help the community and do something great. We do this with our projects and not just little dinky posters and presentations, we go big or we go home. The projects that we do are helping the community. They are huge projects for example, the solar pannels on our schools roof and the community garden. Those were student-led projects.
Team-Building Challenge #3
Help your team find its mission - i.e. your reason for playing (besides ice cream).
"Put your heart, mind, and soul into even your smallest acts. This is the secret of success."
- Swami Sivananda
Mission statements are incredibly valuable for articulating your purpose, your values, and your goals. They can help you uncover and define what makes you unique and attractive. They provide focus and clarity, hone decision-making, and remind you of your intentions. We think of only businesses as having mission statements, but individuals have them, some families have them - so why not Vermontivate! teams?
- Go to team wall, share why you're playing Vermontivate!
- Check out what other people have said.
- Based on what you and others have said, tell us what you think your team mission should be and why.
- Use the Resources to learn more about writing a Mission Statement
if your team already has a mission, find out what your team needs now, and tell us what you're going to do about it.
