Ice cream! Especially if it contains dark chocolate chunks and some sort of fruit. Oh, I could easily eat a pint of Ben and Jerry's a day. Maybe, I haven't actually ever let myself try! On a very sad day a couple of years ago, I started reading the ingredient lists of all my favorite ice creams. Loads and loads of high fructose corn syrup. Oh no!!! We gave that stuff up! What could I do???
Well, we solved the problem. We got a little ice cream maker, and started to buy raw milk locally. We have raspberries we grow ourselves and freeze, maple syrup, and can get high quality dark chocolate. There may be nothing better than these four ingredients frozen into a heavenly concoction that I don't even have to feel (quite so) guilty about enjoying! Yippee!
