Here are my gratitudes for the past five days:

Friday
I'm grateful for my wonderful husband.
I'm grateful for my two fine sons.  (Does that count as 1 or 2?)
I'm grateful for my health.
I'm grateful that I live in a lovely town.
I'm grateful for the gym - so that I can work to stay fit.

Saturday
I'm grateful for beautiful, sunny spring days.
I'm grateful for my orthotics in my shoes.  REALLY grateful for those!
I'm grateful for libraries.
I'm grateful for guacomole.
I'm grateful for Google - because it's just SO much better than card catalogues.

Sunday
I'm grateful for the opportunity to help others through my blood donation.
I'm grateful for warm blankets!
I'm grateful for anesthesia and painkillers.
I'm grateful for lemonade.
I'm grateful for the sound of birds singing.

Monday
I'm grateful for democracy.
I'm grateful to have enough food for my family.
I'm grateful for clean water.
I'm grateful for pothole repair crews!
I'm grateful for Watchung Reservation, The Great Swamp, and all the trails we can hike.

Tuesday
I'm grateful for flowers that bloom in the spring.
I'm grateful for music and dance.
I'm grateful for Impressionist art.  Love Impressionist art!
I'm grateful for thrift shops.  
I'm grateful for the people in my community who come out and work for what they believe in.

Has this exercise made me feel diferently about my life?  I don't think so.  I think that it reflects the person that I already was.
