Our team needs some motivation to get a little more participation in over the finish line in the last week of the game. I'm working on a message out to my teammates to offer support and request they all get as much playing in as they can in the last stretch.
Team-Building Challenge #3
Help your team find its mission - i.e. your reason for playing (besides ice cream).
"Put your heart, mind, and soul into even your smallest acts. This is the secret of success."
- Swami Sivananda
Mission statements are incredibly valuable for articulating your purpose, your values, and your goals. They can help you uncover and define what makes you unique and attractive. They provide focus and clarity, hone decision-making, and remind you of your intentions. We think of only businesses as having mission statements, but individuals have them, some families have them - so why not Vermontivate! teams?
- Go to team wall, share why you're playing Vermontivate!
- Check out what other people have said.
- Based on what you and others have said, tell us what you think your team mission should be and why.
- Use the Resources to learn more about writing a Mission Statement
if your team already has a mission, find out what your team needs now, and tell us what you're going to do about it.
