Try one new physical activity this Vermontivate season!

I tried a Tabata workout a couple weeks ago, for the first time.  I was searching YouTube to find a workout I could do quickly, in about 20 minutes, but that would still get my cardio going.  I came across some Tabata workouts so figured I'd give it a try!

With Tabata, you do as many reps of a particular activity as you can in 20 seconds, and then take a 10 second rest.

It was different because I'm used to just going, going, going for a full 30ish minutes.  I like being able to take the short breaks, and I felt that I was working just as hard as I had during my usual workouts.  I still prefer the longer workouts, but when I'm crunched for time I think Tabata is a great way to get in some good cardio in a short period of time.
