At Highgate apartments the Vermont Community Garden Network will be holding its Garden Facilitator's Retreat. Folks who garden with children will come together from all over our state. They will share ideas, recipes and learn new techniques. Saturday May 2, 9-3.

Today gardens for learning facilitatiors gathered at Highgate Apartments in Barre. We shared food and recipes. We shared best practices and we pumped each other put for the coming garden season. I met the new garden facilitators from Burlington and encouraged them to be brave and reach out for help. Here we are a group of folks who love to garden with children and help them gain their voices.
